HM 507 connectivity problems

Hello.

I have problems connecting my Hameg HM 507 to the PC. (I'd like to copy some waveforms to a project...)
I tried to connect it with a RS-232 to USB converter cable, I set the COM port for the required parameters and the software simply can't find the device.

Anyone got experiences on this?
