I have an MN88473.
So how does the Dongle work?
The Signal does first into the:
http://www.rafaelmicro.com/product/view/21
and get demodulated?
After to the Panasonic MN88473 and what does do it there?
Than into the
http://www.realtek.com.tw/products/productsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=22&PFid=35&Level=4&Conn=3&ProdID=257
and get send into usb?
I try to find the limits of the Chips. The "TV" Software allow me to set AM, FM and NFM in the Radio Setting .ini
.
I know its possible to run the Dongle with SDR Software. So maybe I get run Amateur Radio in the normal Radio Software?!

the rafael chip is a tuner,
realtek is a fast A-D,
most of those dongles only use 2 chips.
the tuner and a very fast A-D sampler.
all demodulation etc is done in software.

What did the Panasonic do there?
So that mean there is no limits for the Software?

the rafael chip can tune from about 30MHz to about 1.7GHz,
other than that, it's down to your processing power and the antenna.

Some people say there is some kind of hardware decoder inside?!
