How would you characterize this 2nd Gen Current Conveyor?
« on: July 30, 2017, 06:45:05 pm »
Hi, doing research on memristor emulators. The proposed circuit of the paper I am currently reading is

Now the current conveyor on the right I recognize as a voltage to current converter aka a VCCS. The one of the left I am unsure. I am just learning of current conveyors today and

http://cas.ee.ic.ac.uk/people/dario/files/E416/cc_handout07.pdf

has no example of that topology.

The paper is question adds no specific details either.

What I do know about current conveyors though is that the voltage of X is equal to that of Y. So the feedback from the voltage multiplier is being used to influence the voltage of X. Why this is important I am unsure.
