IC power consumption with different supply voltages

Hi,
Im trying to reduce power consumption of a microcontroller. I need to know how does the supply voltage affects the power consumption of the device. Of course i understand the ohm law but are there any things to consider which will increase the current consumption with lower supply voltage. For example would microcontroller consumption the same current at 3.3V, 2.5V and at 1.8V?

That information is usually available in the data sheet for the microcontroller you are planning to use. As is the characterization of current vs clock speed.

Yes i can find that data but I am looking for something more specific which will work for all ic's. I am wondering how the supply voltage can affect a sensor board containing for example accelerometer, gyro, temperature sensor etc.

Better go with the datasheet with every IC, they all will tell you what you need to know.
Other solution, power the whole circuit and measure the current on 5V and 3.3V.

One thing i can tell you, at 3.3V you should require vastly less energy :)
At least that is my experience...
