These sites can help:
http://www.s-manuals.com/smdhttp://www.systek.ru/marking.php?marking=4eEdit, I now see the link is already given.
I have to do this almost every day and although I'm getting good at it, it still is no fun.
If you google it is handy to add : smd marking to the search parameters. Also the type of package can help and sometimes datasheet.
fi something like : AH sot-89 smd marking datasheet And sometimes it helps to add things like mosfet.
Could be a 2SD2413 that has marking 1S for sot-89 then 06 could be the years code ?
Besides that I use a pdf from a book that is over 2000 pages and states all smd markings. It is a commercial yearly publication from Turuta. Called the smd-codes databook.
There also is a free pdf named the smd codebook
