increasing current peak for MC34063?
« on: June 26, 2017, 01:01:23 am »
I made a circuit that reduces 12V to 5V using the MC34063. I set it so it will provide 1 amp of current. The peak current is 2 amps, which is above the maximum current (1.5A).

Could I increase the current if I put the 5V output to an LM317, which could provide that current boost?
