so my question involves a common problem i am having in finding the right multimeter i need.

the fluke 115, for example, would probably be the perfect multimeter i could get but the amps range is not low enough. it only goes to mamps and no uamps, which is suggested in my books and some projects.

with this in mind, do you, in ur suggestion, still get it even though it lacks the range or do you keep on going?

just curious. thanks

No, don't bother with the 115, it's only for electricians who don't deal with low level electronics.
I've got 5 $100 meters for review coming up, all cost less than the 115 and all provide greater measurement capability.

Dave.
