Just finished the DSO 138 from JYETECH
« on: March 06, 2016, 04:44:57 am »
Newb here - please be gentle.

I just finished assembling the DSO 138 oscilloscope from JYETECH, and I'm pretty happy about it. I have the "K" model where you need to solder on all the SMDs.

A few things have scared me off of using my Rigol DS1054Z with circuits that I power with my DIY benchtop power supply, and the DSO 138 is pretty much disposable, so it's given me a bit more confidence. I can use the DSO 138 first, and then use my Rigol without fear.

Anyways... just wanted to share that.
Electronics newb... please be gentle. :)

How did you like it?I thought it was a fun little kit myself.

I'm waiting a few little things to finish it but I hacked mine into a old gameboy case. The screen was the perfect size and it fits really nice and it also made it into something I can carry and might actually use ;)
