krc86b bluetooth

Hello,

I am making a Bluetooth portable speaker with the krc-86b Bluetooth module and the PAM8610 amp. The amp works fine when I don't use the Bluetooth board, and instead just use an aux cable.

But when I try with the bluetooth board the amp draws 0.5A though the AGND pin on the krc-86b, its really peculiar and means the krc-86b board turns off as I guessing a safety feature stops it.

Not sure what I am doing wrong, the amp has a 3 pole 3.5mm jack input, and I have bought a 3.5mm screw terminal (https://www.cablematic.co.uk/ref/AY97?gclid=CMyHpI... which has L, R and GND on it.

krc-86b to amp:

OutL to L
OutR to R
AGND to GND

If anyone can help, would be much appreciated.

Can you draw a schematic of how it's all wired up? (Both audio and power.)

FWIW, the amplifier chips' peak current draw can be many amps (just in incredibly short bursts). Beefy caps right at the amp's power input prevents this from becoming an issue.

I'm wondering if your power ground is somehow bad, such that the audio ground is being pressed into service.
