Led Matrix display drive mosfet question
« on: April 02, 2017, 01:44:03 am »
This is my first time building an LED Matrix display.
It will display a simple animation driven by an atmega328p my question is regarding the mosfet architecture. I am a little concerned that I may have missed something with respect to driving the P-Channel fets in particular.

The "Drive" signals are connected directly through microcontroller pin (currently missing 1K current limit resistor in series).

P-Channel https://www.diodes.com/assets/Datasheets/DMP3099L.pdf
N-Channel https://www.diodes.com/assets/Datasheets/DMG2302UK.pdf

Any tips would be much appreciated.

I have decided to pull the trigger and try out this design. Although I decided to drive the p-channel fets from an inverting demux to save some IO pins.

pfet is the wrong way around, look at  the body diode
