Life Update!
« on: April 14, 2015, 01:32:10 pm »
Hey guys so I just got an internship at precision technologies where I test, repair, and assemble boards for various companies such as TI, DPL, etc. My first day was yesterday and there is so much for me to learn! I have been given such a great opportunity to learn how to track problems down, Blow up fuses several times  ::) , and even learn how to operate the pick and place machine!

To any noobie out there. I am 17 and in the 10th grade. I have worked hard to study, and do what I can to go into the field. I was just asking for a screwdriver to take apart a microwave I found in the alleyway as it wouldn't fit on my bike, and It ended up amounting to me talking to a few more people and getting the internship. You will be very surprised as to how many doors open for you when you just think positive and work hard to reach what you want to be in life. Thanks to the EEVBlog I have had the encouragement to try a bit harder and learn more, so thank you all for being such a great community! :-+

Nice work!  :-+
Thanks! I'm so excited because they are giving me a small project to work on that if it blows up its just some extra fun, and wont matter too much.  >:D  some companies even make things more modular so testing/debugging becomes very easy if there is an error. If I ever make A board there is a lot I will be able to consider when it comes to manufacture-ability, testing capabilities, fedutials, and a whole lot more for me to learn. Imma try to take it all on and learn all that I can. :box:

Isn't it cute how excited the young ones get about going to work every day?  ::)

Just kidding. I had a programming job at a local university when I was in high school, and it was a great experience.  :-+
