Switching Regulator Li-Ion voltages to 5V 3A
« on: February 02, 2013, 10:16:25 pm »
I'm looking for an IC that can step up typical lithium ion voltages of about 3.2 to 5V and source ~2-3A of current. It also needs to be a through hole package. Thanks!

EDIT: Would a MSC34063 IC work with an external npn or pnp switch? 3A is a little bit high for the rated power though.
