LTPoE++ MOSFET Selection (Ideal Diode Bridge)
« on: May 13, 2018, 08:34:58 am »
Hello, I'm trying to select an appropriate MOSFET to use as an Ideal Diode Bridge for my LTPoE++ application.
I need to support the maximum spec for LTPOE++ (90 watts).

I'm using a Linear Technology LT4321 as the driver for my Ideal Diode Bridge.

To save space on the PCB and reduce complexity these Quad N-Channel MOSFETs look very attractive.

However i'm a beginner in the world of electrical engineering and I'm not quite sure if I can use these H-Bridge type fets for this application or not.

I was also able to find this single mosfet from Nexperia but they aren't in stock

and I would like to use a single chip to save space and reduce complexity.

The FDMQ8403 seems to be the best choice from what I can find, I'm just not sure about the H-Bridge, if anyone can clarify it would be really helpful.

I may just have to go with 8x of the TI CSD19538Q3A

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank very much you for your time!
