Mathematics knowledge

How important is mathematics knowledge (calculus, differentials equations, etc) to be a very good electronics designer?

you do need maths to be real good but many of us cope with being maths dunces

That's why after inventing calculus, Leibniz, invented Wolfram alpha :P

I think you will probably end using the online calculators...

I haven't had to solve an integral or diff equation outside of school, in 20+ years of professional electronics.
