Mosfet wanted
« on: June 03, 2015, 12:21:20 am »
I've searched the internet already but there are so many mosfets that i can't find the right one.
So my question is, is there any logic level (5v) cheap comon mosfet that can handle atleast 1 amp when fully on in the market ? (to-92 case prefered).
PS: they will be used to make 3 h bridges controled by an atmega328p.

Thanks in advance  :-+

In my searches, the 3055 seems to trickle to the top in bang for the buck.

If you are looking to create H-bridges, why not have a look at the BTN7971B and newer models. They might be overkill for your application but they form half H-bridges all in one piece and I'm sure there are even more suitable ones (i.e. full H-bridge ones) if you look for them. Just giving you a starting point here...

The NTD3055L seems to be a good option !!! just need to check the price with a local distribuitor  :-+
I think that an h bridge ic maybe it's a  bit overkill since i want to make it as simple as possible.

Thanks to all that tried to help  :)

Without a doubt it is overkill, but one generally must buy 10 ore more for a decent price, so it's nice to have a very flexible, inexpensive MOSFET on the shelf. :)
