Multi Object Tracking Sensor ?
« on: July 17, 2017, 03:01:49 pm »
I have an idea for a project which will need an MOT sensor, something like what the Wiimote uses.
The IR camera inside the Wiimote can track up to 4 points, I think. It has SPI communication and only sends the coordinate of the 4 points to the MCU.

The camera is a PAC7010 from PixArt Imaging Inc. They have a newer model it seems that can track up to 16 objects.

I would like to buy some of those IR cameras, but can't find them anywhere and I tried to contact PixArt but I have yet to receive a reply.

Any idea where I can find this sensor or do you know of a similar sensor ?

I would like not to have to buy a Wiimote just for the sensor alone.
