Name of hardware to directly program AVR
« on: June 16, 2016, 09:39:40 pm »
I've seen programmers that you can place directly over avr's that have tiny contacts that touch the corresponding SPI pins on an avr for programming chips directly without need for an ISP header.  I can't find any at all from googling around, anyone know the name/model of one?

I have never seen such a device commercially available.
I have built one using laser cut acrylic and pogo pins specifically sized for an ATMEGA328P-AU.

Very cool.
That would have been a lot easier than my home built pogo pin solution.
I have gone to Tag Connect for all of my designs now rather than the usual 0.1" header.
