So i'm trying to connect a Git1 camera: http://www.gitup.com/home/8-gitup-git1-action-camera-pro-packing.html (http://www.gitup.com/home/8-gitup-git1-action-camera-pro-packing.html)
to a Rode VideoMicro: http://www.rode.com/microphones/videomicro (http://www.rode.com/microphones/videomicro)
Using a GoPro Hero 3 adapter: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00A3MY7L8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00A3MY7L8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
but it's not working, the microphone works as i've used it with a trs > trrs adapter in my phone.
I saw this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JhSJfxWNqQ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JhSJfxWNqQ)
and at 12:50 he has the same issue. I've been told at a forum that maybe it has the wrong resistor in the cable. Any ideas?

You might have to wait until someone who knows something shows up. It could be a few days.
Be patient.
