Neon electronic power supply design resources

Hello all,

I have been working with bending neon for the past couple of years and have become interested in learning more about how their power supplies are designed and built. So far, I have found some good insights by looking through patents, but have yet to find much by way of actual technical resources. I'm particularly interested in solid state power supplies and specialty power supplies (dimmable: http://www.t2-neonpower.com/PRODUCTS/NEON_SUPPLIES/midget_files/midget.html, scripting: http://ventextech.com/neon-power-supplies/12-volt-dc/) I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction with regards to finding any resources on electronic neon power supplies (textbooks, educational resources, design manuals, etc.). If anyone has any information regarding schematics, theory, or design particularly behind the scripting transformers that would be amazing!
