I have been in calibration for about 5 years now, and I must agree that Fluke's notes are probably the best. I also fond that calibrating old HP/Agilent kit is pretty good for training because the service manuals are all on their website and most of them have a step-by-step calibration and performance test section. You will blindly follow it word-for-word at first, but gradually you will start to understand why tests are taken, why certain protocols are followed, etc.
Agilent also have some training notes available as well. Back To Basics, Measurement Fundamentals, etc. etc.
