Please help me identify this resistor
« on: February 12, 2014, 04:40:56 pm »
Destroyed this component and need to replace it.

It is a 100 ohm, 3 watt, 5% resistor.
What I do not know is the manufacturer, and the reason there are no color bands.

What is the replacement, please?

Thanks!

It does not matter who made it and there are no bands because it is big enough to write on

It might be Matsushita, now Panasonic.

That wasn't clear from your original post, glad to see someone was able to identify it for you.

If that were the case, then you'd just ask the original equipment suppliers for a replacement or a manufacturer and part number.
