Plz help me identify a router CPU frequency
« on: May 07, 2015, 04:56:34 pm »
Hi everyone.
Could anyone tell me the CPU frequency of this device: Edimax BR-6228nS ?
I searched a lot and just found it's a Realtek RTL8196C, but what's the speed?
Thank you very much!

Thank you, a 3rd-party firmware bootlog shows 390MHz, the highest frequency of this chip, however I don't the stock speed of it.

Try to locate a serial interface on the board and connect an adapter to it, while booting it's common to read in the console the status, frequency, memory and other interesting info.
