Dave what do you think about this

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130345369974&_trksid=p2761.l1259

disclaimer: i'm not selling anything, I'm just asking if anyone tried this?

I'm planning to get fluke 123 or something.

It's basically this:

http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/micro-digital-storage-oscilloscopedso-nano-p-512.html

And you can buy it from the designer for cheaper. I have to wonder where those units on eBay are coming from, as the buttons are a different color, but otherwise I can see no difference.

Dave gave his thoughts in this thread:

I was looking at getting one, but decided not to bother. Though I do wish someone would make a good pocket oscilloscope like this that is actually adequate for serious use. Maybe in a few years.

This device somehow seems to lack the ruggedness of a device that needs to be used every day in many situations.
I wonder how the performance would be checking you car battery at -10 deg C in winter and your solar panel at 35 deg C in the summer.

And that is the not so professional work.
Why spend money I don't have on things I don't need to impress people I don't like?
