positioning LDR
« on: November 21, 2017, 01:48:50 pm »
I am building a circuit with a Light Dependent Resistor and relay that will turn the lights off in a room when the natural light is sufficient to light the room.  How do I position the LDR so that the electric light does not cause the LDR to cycle off and on?  If possible, I want to have the LDR in the room.  I may also add a PIR sensor and an OR Gate so that if no one is in the room the relay will also turn off.

Enclose the LDR in a tube with a blanked and and attach the open end to a window....
