Project enclosure/perfboard combination recommendations

Do you have any favorite lines of enclosures that take various standard-sized perfboards and/or Arduinos?

I've got ideas for projects, but I find that when I build something on a piece of perfboard, I wish I had first through through all the implications for the enclosure, it's controls, displays, jacks, etc. On-line, the selection is too vast. I get stuck trying to figure out which enclosures are available on-line that would have mounting holes in the right places and enough space for batteries and all the rest. I probably should have started my design with the box, but it's too late after I build the circuit.

There must be some good approaches to this out there... What do you like to use for small projects (smaller than a cigar box)?
