Pulse Counter for DC Voltage
« on: June 24, 2014, 08:56:04 pm »
I think I need a pulse counter to measure flow from a hall effect water flow sensor.  I am testing multiple units to find the best one for my application.  In all testing I will be using 12V DC as the input voltage so I assume the output voltage will be 12V or less.  Can anyone steer me in the right direction to find and purchase the correct pulse counter?  This will likely be a one time use for me.  Thanks.

totalized flow or rate of flow? (totalised will require a unit with an option to disable the gate)

Don't forget that some water meters have actually 4 magnets inside. 2xsouth and 2x north pole. So you might have to divide all counts by 2.
