Regarding Semtech SX1272RF1 LoRa Communication Range issue
« on: July 28, 2016, 06:24:23 am »
Hi
I am trying to build a LoRa network using raspberryPi1 and Semtech SX1272RF1 LoRa module http://au.rs-online.com/web/p/radio-frequency-development-kits/9225873/.
I used the basic example from  https://www.cooking-hacks.com/documentation/tutorials/extreme-range-lora-sx1272-module-shield-arduino-raspberry-pi-intel-galileo/
I read that LoRa supports extreme range ,but I am not able to communicate over a long distance at least in a line of sight.I am getting a very low range of 1m.
What I am missing.
