I'm going off this video to start. I noticed he has uarts connected. Is he doing this just to see the data easier on the computer? He says you don't need them. What I want this device to do is blink 4 leds sequentially so I can see the signal is being sent from tx to rx. I'm going to try putting 1/4 wave antennas on these little things which will look ridiculous but I just want to experiment with antennas.
Will the arduinos do the Manchester encoding with the library? So I just connect one data pin?
https://youtu.be/txSrx5druXgAlso when hooking up the antenna can I hook the outside of the shield to the GND pin on the unit? Or is that not an RF ground? The units have solder points for a simple wire antenna and I want to hook up 75 ohm coax.
