Siglent SDG1025 max sourcing and sinking capabilities
« on: January 01, 2016, 11:57:19 pm »
Don't know if I'm missing something or completely misunderstanding basic concepts, but I'm trying to figure out the max sourcing and sinking capabilities of that signal generator.
I'm only certain they can source enough current for a 50 ohm load, but what is the max load they can source? There is a short-circuit protection, but not sure at what resistance its triggered, and how safe it is to trigger it.
I'm also wondering about how much it is safe to sink, I'm thinking on some passive filters like RC ones, I want to stay safe and avoid breaking anything...

Thanks in advance...
