SMD idenfication

Hello everyone,

I have an old sff PC on which the front panel USB header does not work, I have found that a SMD on the motherboard has burnt out but I have no idea of what it is and where to get one, google is not my friend today. Hoping someone can help as this will actually be my first attempt at a motherboard repair!

Thanks guys, there are in fact quite a few of these on this particular board.

Unfortunately I still cannot find any like this for sale, any ideas on what I could use as an alternative?

Unless you know its rated amperes it is next to impossible to look at a replacement... then you need its dimensions.

I would also say it reads as S692!

Except that MF-MSMF260 is a 6V part, so that decoding doesn't seem quite right.

It's 260 series, but the last digit 26(9)s telling you that is rated for 9V

MF-MSMF is the series. MF-MSMF260 looks to be a specific part, rated at 6V.

The last two digits on MS-MSMF parts are a date code. So if we assume 9S is a date code, we're happy again.

Ok, then you can see those two capacitors, and you can conclude rated voltage for this pptc fuse
