SPS Programming (EN: PLC) & CODESYS known outside of Germany (DACH)?

Hi folks,

I have been searching for a student job/internship in Germany, Stuttgart. I am looking for positions where I can work with Electrical Engineers (or of that nature).
While looking for a position,

I`ve come across "SPS Programming" (English "PLC Programming".) a hell of alot.
Also knowledge of "CODESYS"??

Has anyone outside seen this outside of Germany (DACH)??
