ST SOIC identification
« on: May 10, 2017, 08:36:03 am »
Hi All,

Hopefully someone will have an idea how to decode this chips markings. I am looking to repair a display panel that has an encoder input playing up. I suspect the voltage regulator but as the panel is still in operation I wanted to source components first as I won't get long for the repair before having to put it back into operation.

Many thanks

Rich

Thanks very much Wraper. I'd worked out the voltage regulator although could find the exact one via the lower row of characters. I guess it's superseded now but shouldn't be an issue. May i ask what pointed to the missing 'I'm or is there a look up table somewhere? Many thanks again.

It's usual thing to omit first letters. Moreover I've seen such parts from ST before.
