I tested the version without the cc function, it preforms rather good.
The module uses the XL4016 from XLSEMI, the current rating in the ad is bit too optimistic, 6A output current is more realistic.

It's have limitation of minimum voltage >0.8V
You can mode with op amp and couple of resistor trough. So the voltage can be set from 0V

i am not interested in getting voltages under one volt. so what is the maximum and is is very sensitive and is it reliable?

If you are looking for something to power up your hobby electronics, I will recommend the B3603 adjustable power supply module instead. Go search on Google. Very hackable, precise and inexpensive for such a module. I bought a few for $8 a piece on eBay some time back, shipping included. The board is rather well built as well which is a bonus.

I bought and built a power supply kit from these folks:
http://www.engineeringshock.com/blue-power-supply-with-display-lm2596.html

The kit I bought was a different model using a different chip but they don't sell that one anymore. Anyway the kit quality was very good and the finished PS I bought works well. This one looks good too. It seems sufficient for hobby use.

As suggested above, buy b3603 as it has a fairly good current limit function which is a must for a power supply
