STM32 JTAG
« on: September 19, 2018, 11:42:29 am »
I am working on a design that uses an STM32 F0 and I want to have a JTAG connection for debugging.

Is it possible to use JTAG with the STM32 F0 series?

I have seen some projects where this is possible however there is nothing on the reference manual.

According to RM0091 the STM32F0 only has Serial Wire (SWD) for debug.

Quote from: Chapter 32
The debug features are used by the debugger host when connecting to and debugging the
STM32F0xx MCUs.
One interface for debug is available:
• Serial wire

The F0 does support JTAG, but only for testing I believe.

I'll jump onto the STM32 F1 series. Thanks!

Do you want to daisy-chain and debug?
