Suggestions for application of High voltage cap.
« on: February 16, 2018, 09:41:32 pm »
Any suggestions for an application for these caps? Got two of them but unsure what I can use them for. Bonus points if it's something with RF.

Edit: Wrong section, trying to move it. sorry  ;D

Uh... what's the rest of it look like?

If it's a heavy metal box with large studs, it may be pulse rated.  Not quite enough for a quarter shrinker IIRC, but a few of them together, perhaps?

It was used in old analog TV transmitters. Shaped like a cereal box with roughly the same size, two protruding poles with ceramic insulator. The caps are in a garage a couple miles from my location, I had a third but it spilled about 1-2 liters of fluid everywhere and I did not want to drive with the rest because of their fragility.
