Summing Mixer

Hi all

might be a silly question but what is the point of say 10 k restores is a summing circuit like this is it to match impedance

If you connected all the channels together without resistors, they would cross-talk into each other.  Especially left to right (which the 14.3k resistors connect between).  The resistors isolate the channels, but at the expense of reducing gain by the same amount.
