Test multimeter min/max or peak response time

Hi, how would I go about testing my meters min/max response time? Fluke list my meters peak min/max response time as 250 µS. I have other multimeter that do not provide this detail.

You'd require an intimate knowledge of the meter and you'd need to connect to the insides of it. It's hardly a practical possibility.
Anything truly new begins as a thought.

One way to test it would be to use an adjustable single-shot (monostable) pulse generator - easily made with a 555.  Set the meter to record the Peak DC voltage, then hit it with various pulse widths from the monostable and see what pulse width gives you the correct peak result.  Of course, you'll likely have to have a scope to measure the pulse width.  Or, maybe do it with a programmable micro...

Well, it SHOULD be there.
With the slight caveat that the filtering applied to the individual implementation of a meter using this chip is not included.
So it would be a lot of analysis work on various schematics, if available.

Basic possibilities exist in measuring the delay of the annunciator segment or the beeper.
In conjunction with a suitable signal source, as stated above.
