TSSOP breakout for SSOP chip

Would a 16 pin TSSOP breakout be compatible with a 16pin SSOP chip?

Yup, should work fine.  I have a stack of those Adafruit adapters and have used TSSOP and SSOP's on them.

Just check the pitch of your part leads... aren't some SSOP's 0.025" = 0.635mm and some TSSOP's are 0.65mm?

It's not always the most popular person who gets the job done.
