Turn a Buck converter into a Boost converter

Hi this is my first post. Yesterday i bought a dc-dc converter , i thought it was a boost converter but it turned out it wasnt  . So im curious if there is any way to convert the converter .Thank you

First check the control IC datasheet to see if there's a boost mode application circuit, but the odds are not in your favour as the output transistor, diode and inductor will all need rewiring to rearrange the circuit, which will probably not be possible with the existing PCB layout.
