Unidentified DC connector
« on: December 31, 2013, 04:56:34 pm »
I've spent hours googling and asked every electronics expert that I know. Actually I only know few so I'm sure someone here knows right away a name for this DC connector. It's used in some Chinese solar panels. Please see attached picture and let me know if you know what type it is. Or even better, where to get those.
SW engineer trying to design HW because it's more fun.

It's an SAE connector. Automotive supply places might have them.

Narva have them  http://www.narva.com.au/products/browse/weatherproof-harness-connectors.

Automotive places here carry Narva, I saw some mentioned under marine use as well so try boat shops
