Sorry to have to ask, but I can't figure out how to unregister from this forum.

IIRC, it messes up the threads you've posted in if an account is outright removed.

Just don't post. Here, you have been unregistered.

He only participated in one thread, and nothing of value will be lost if that thread is gone.

Received a C&D order from the audiophool company?
More likely expected Dave to prove that quantum carbon resistor improves quality of the sound [if correctly placed in the rear of the listener :)].

... Such sincerity.

Spat the dummy when informed of some home truths about debunking videos.  He wanted Dave to do one on an audiophoolery product and didn't appreciate being told why they aren't worth the effort.

To the Op ... just walk away and your topics will fade into obscurity soon enough.  Keep making noises and they will hang around.

Streisand effect, make an issue out of it an people will remember.

IMHO it's far better to own your mistakes and learn from them.

"Streisand effect"

Actually had to Google that.
Didn't quite go according to plan I'd say.

Quote from: Wikipedia
Before Streisand filed her lawsuit, "Image 3850" had been downloaded from Adelman's website only six times; two of those downloads were by Streisand's attorneys. As a result of the case, public knowledge of the picture increased exponentially; more than 420,000 people visited the site over the following month.

He who must not be named had asked Dave to remove him, so I guess this can be done.

Sounds like an interesting story - can you elaborate?

Cheers

In the annals of history now, and best left that way. He spat the dummy big time though, and really did throw all his toys out of the cot big time, though he probably still lurks here and whimpers in his basement, or got back on his meds.

isnt it boring if everyday is work work work, theory theory theory, pulling hair pulling hair pulling hair? at least an audiophool thread from some genuine audiophool people in a week or a month can enlighten the day, no?

You are better off not knowing.  Took ages to clear his favourite picture from the Tapatalk cache on my phone,  after last Christmas episode
