If the lengths of A and B represent the resistances of two parallel branches in an electric circuit, then D is their parallel equivalent resistance!

Wow, I never thought of it that way, but it actually makes perfectly sense!

Resistance is directly proportional to distance, hence the resistance of something could also be expressed in meters - or any other distance unit. (Think of series resistance)

Wonder how many other electronic 'laws' can be expressed with other units/systems?
