What is the best EEPROM Programmer for Computer/Laptop Repair !!!!!!!

Hello guys, I need some help about EEPROM Programmers, I want to know which is the best BIOS (EEPROM) programmer to buy for BIOS Flashing for both PCs & Laptops and the necessary Adapters.
I'm willing to buy ELNEC or Xeltek so which model is best for me ?
Any suggestions  and what about The MiniPro TL866CS is it enough for me (For BIOS Flashing) ?

Bus pirate for in circuit programming or the Minipro TL866CS mentioned a lot on the forum. first will do in circuit and the second you need in most cases to remove the chip.

There are not all models on the website, they also make the same devices with different model numbers for China market which are sold cheaper. But English software supports them without any problems.

I buy them on ebay, they will cost in $100's realm if buying elnec ones for example. I find it funny that actual zif sockets used in expensive elnec SO-X (8, 14...) adapters are exactly the same as in cheap ebay ones. Just need to mention that you also need to buy wide SO-8 (or higher pin count) adapter, not only usual one because SPI flash ICs usually are wide ones. It is also good idea to buy SO adapters with higher pin count because you can use them for 8 pin flash ICs and also program some MCU when needed.

Get the TL866A not CS. You will be able to program removable bios and do in circuit programming for non-socketed.

The software on that one ^^ looks like serious junk to me.

Dave has reviewed the TL866CS, but get the A variant so you can do in circuit programming. I have the A and think it works very well.
