what is this type of wire called?
« on: June 19, 2018, 03:25:09 pm »
I've been obsessed with retractable audio cables recently, but all of them seem to be TRS, and I need one that is TRRS.  I was thinking of making my own, which means I need a four conductor super flimsy wire.  I could modify a USB cable, but I think I want some of this wire to use in future projects.

Is there a specific term to search for to find this stuff?

for the record this is what I'm talking about:

is there a specific name for this flat type of tinsel wire?  google search just shows really thin wire.
