What's this connector called?
« on: June 02, 2017, 08:38:09 pm »
I need to buy a connector to connect to the V+/V- pins on this cheapie eBay dummy load / battery capacity tester, but I don't actually know what this type of connector is called. You see them all over the place on things, but I don't actually know what to search for on digikey/etc:

Thanks in advance,

You mean the white thing? That looks like a JST connector to me. Fairly common for connecting LiPo batteries and such.

https://www.digikey.com/products/en/connectors-interconnects/rectangular-connectors-headers-male-pins/314?k=JST%20connector

If you want to get a mating connector you will need to buy the individual pins, a housing and then crimp that to a cable.

I think this would be the right category : https://www.digikey.com/short/3dbtnz  (pre-selected through hole, right angle , optional board edge headers)

looks to me like some JST header , but could be something generic with standard 0.1" pitch
