Where to buy semi decent test leads for Oscilloscope
« on: October 22, 2015, 12:14:33 am »
Hi All,

I am looking to find an Australian supplier of various test leads for my Oscilloscope.

To start with I am after BNC->Aligator and BNC->Banana

Where do you go to buy your test leads?

Cheers,

Jon

EPray has some cheap Chinese versions of these. Most of them are actually pretty decent for general use. I find these to be typically an order of magnitude cheaper than anyplace else.

That can only be answered in the context of what you are measuring.

The types of test lead you mention are suitable for audio frequency work, not much more.
There are lies, damned lies, statistics - and ADC/DAC specs.
Glider pilot's aphorism: "there is no substitute for span". Retort: "There is a substitute: skill+imagination. But you can buy span".
