Why does this ON datasheet totally look like an AD datasheet?

Even an ADish part name.  Did they collaborate on this?

From the ON Semiconductor wiki

"In January 2008, ON Semiconductor completed the acquisition of the CPU Voltage and PC Thermal Monitoring Business from Analog Devices, Inc., for $184 million."

The ADP3418 was included in the acquisition

But then it is a moot point, since it appears to be obsolete regardless.

And anyway, why change it? TI data sheets still have that same clunky design from the 1960s.

And the National Semiconductor parts just have a TI cover page stuck on the front.
