SIL vs SIP, SIL == SIP?
« on: January 12, 2017, 10:02:25 am »
I'm confused, are these the same? Or is there any difference?

SIL = Single InLine Package
SIP = Single InLine Package

So: SIL == SIP ?

Can't find much on SIL  :-//

SIL isn't restricted to IC package pinout, it applies to other components e.g SIL headers or resistor arrays.  SIP implies an encapsulated IC-'style' package.

Ah, thanks!

The PIN spacing voor SIL-4 and SIP-4 is actually same?
