ZD-915 problem

hello..i have a de-soldering station ,the zd-915..it works fine but when i press the button to power up..it shows first a code (U03) and then it works normal...i hear a beep from the soldering iron too...what is it and how can i fix it?

Reporting the firmware version then a short beep ? Doesn't sound like a problem to me... mine does the same.

Mine also does the same thing.  In fact, it flashed the code 2 or 3 times before the temp display comes on.  It works without problems.

I just wish the unit would remember the last temperature, and maybe start a bit faster.

Maybe I could look into this if I can ever get all these projects done...
