Awesome as usual.

My high school also offers an electronics elective class, which I took, duh... I wish more schools would do it.

Oh, a drive time rant again! I had forgotten that 'straigha drives on the left side.

As for the forum layout... I'd like to suggest a members-only forum which offers some privacy. Mainly so that search engines can't see it.
And also, I was thinking, maybe a forum dedicated to discussing other EE video blogs. I've noticed there's quite a few, and I'm sure some of them hang around here. Certainly Mike does, at least. I think it would have great community building potential.
Whoa! How the hell did Dave know that Bob is my uncle? Amazing!

Another fine quality drive time rant - love it!
I normally watch these on the iPad or PC but I occasionally watch on the 50" HD TV; and I must say the quality is superb! both sound and picture quality!

What's with your car's headliner?  ;^)

Too many rants peel it from the roof?

Fine German craftsmanship! :->
Anyone got any tips on how to fix it?

Dave.

Dave, peel it off and use a can of spray adhesive on both sides, leave for the flash time, then press back into place. Windows open during this in a dust free place. Tip to prevent it recurring is a carport and not parking in the sun.

@EEVBlog: Since you asked, I'm not really a big fan of the "child" boards stuff ... I preferred the old way.

I think the child boards are a great way to organise related boards in a compact and neat fashion; works for me!

I believe you can reactivate the glue by using steam. If you have any way to steam it and then press it back into place it might work.

I am still enjoying your blog Dave btw. Keep the "annoying" voice going! :)

Ah, interesting idea, didn't think of that one!

The top cover shouldn't be porous though. A friend of mine had his car steam cleaned, the steam went through the the porous material of the headliner and destroyed the adhesive.

I really want to see what those high school kids came up with. Is there going to be a video on that?

You are genious! I love drive time rants, but every time I watch one something just feels wrong. :P And they should stay on the main YouTube channel, they absolutely are on topic for me as Dave mostly talks about electronics anyway.

Wanna see something really cool? Watch any eevblog backwards. You''ll see Dave appear as a cool customer and slowly get madder and madder...
